Oak Bay Panthers Soccer Team

The Oak Bay Panthers reached the BC Provincial Championships for Men's Division 3-6 teams. The Panthers were also promoted to Division 2 for the 2006-2007 season, based on the calibre of their play and their great success throughout the year. They also played in the Vancouver Island Pearkes Cup final for the Men's Division (3-6) championship.

Congratulations to all the team and to the coach for an awesome year. The Panthers were unique in Men's league for featuring players not yet out of High School, but this proved to be beneficial for the team. The team plays an inspired "possession" type of game, their build-ups and their play making talents worthy of their fan support. And there is a ton of soccer know-how inside this team, from the experienced head coach to the many players who also coach community teams, while most other players have been in the game themselves since they were adolescents.
